New Generation Collection

Lucy developed a sofa collection with the Wesley Barrell management team and manufacturing partner, utilising both her product development background and market knowledge.

Coming up with tear sheets and mood boards for 5 stand alone shapes and 3 accent chairs, after researching the market, and looking at gaps in the retailers range.

Lucy’s input in both shapes and fabrics resulted in the ‘New Generation’ collection launch. A range that offers hand crafted, comfortable furniture in both classic and relaxed contemporary styles – and at affordable prices to boot! With the success of the New Generation range, the shapes are being rolled out to all Wesley Barrell UK stores.

Boutique Collection

A collection developed with Cavendish Upholstery, to create a more relaxed, small proportioned range of sofas and accent chairs. With its own swatch book, of Italian and Belgium fabrics that could be used for both base cloths and accent cushions, and over all shapes.

Fabrics and textures, at the time, were selected from Proposte and Decosit, tying in with both trend and the customer/retailer focus we had, to purchase the collection.

The range, which was launched at the Interiors fair, comprised of 5 upholstery shapes: ‘Comfy’, ‘Cowley’, ‘Felix’, ‘Snug’, and ‘Soho’ – reflecting a portfolio or ‘arms’ that are needed in a stable of sofas. With 3 accent chairs, ‘Hotel’, ‘Scroll’ and ‘Tub’.

Lucyb was instrumental in coming up with the shapes, mood, arms, working with both the in house designer and proto-shop team, selecting fabrics, and launching at the Interiors Fair.
