Working with renowned manufacturers and their in house design and prototype teams Lucy advises on trend, fabrics, shapes, styles and works within brief and to the target customer profiled – to develop new collections to market.
From concept to the shop floor, Lucy has worked with cabinet, upholstery and fabric suppliers, launching new ranges at trade exhibitions and to retail buyers alike.

“Creative and Commercial Flair”
“A very professional and considerate person to work with.., with creative and commercial flair.”
“…diligent, honest and incredibly dedicated…”
“I have known Lucy for over seven years and had dealings with her through her company ‘lucyb home’ at varying levels from supplying fabric to working together on design projects. I have always found Lucy extremely reliable, very focused and hard working.
Her design work has proved very successful both within the domestic furniture manufacturing industry and the interior design market.
She has always been diligent, honest and incredibly dedicated during all of my dealings with her and I would have no hesitation in vouching for her honesty and reputation.”
“…has great aptitude…”
“I have known Lucy for 8 years. We first met when she was a buyer at House of Fraser and we have worked together ever since on a variety of projects for a broad spectrum of clients. Lucy’s background in head office retail buying has given her a variety of essential skills which has allowed her to become a highly competent freelancer.
She has a firm understanding of market trends, always takes a creative approach to ideas and design, has great aptitude as an organiser and directing others and most importantly is commercial when it comes to developing to a price point and keeping within a budget.
Many furniture collections that Lucy has been a part of have been a great success stylistically and importantly have sold in volume.”
